Requirements
- Experience reading and writing code in a programming language
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly
- Experience working collaboratively towards project goals and deadlines
- Enrolled in a full-time Computer Science or relevant technical academic program, or relevant technical degree program is a plus
- Raw talent and a burning desire to succeed
- Passion to learn and to make a difference developing enabling technologies
- Mix of technologies, but no specific coding language requirement
Responsibilities
- Interns at athena work on a variety of technical problems across products and platform teams, including: Core Products- athenaOne : athenaCollector, athenaClinicals, Patient Experience
- Platform Services & athena.intelligence – Data Science
- Developing enabling technologies
- Working on challenging technology problems to create products that medical professionals and patients use every day
- Collaborating towards project goals and deadlines
- Reading and writing code in a programming language
- Learning and adapting quickly to new technologies
Other
- Must be local to Boston during entirety of the internship (June 1st 2026-August 7th 2026)
- Must be available for the entire intern program: June, 1st 2026- August, 7th 2026 (dates are not flexible)
- This position is ineligible for any form of immigration sponsorship
- Must be in office at least 1 day a week
- No relocation assistance or moving stipend offered
