GLOBALFOUNDRIES is looking for a Software Engineering intern to participate in the architecture, development, and validation of advanced software that drives the development and validation of Process Design Kits (PDKs). This internship will provide opportunities to gain experience in software development processes and tools and advanced applications such as ML/AI, through the realization of critical solutions for GF’s PDKs.
Requirements
- Strong skills in Python.
- Firsthand experience with revision tools, e.g., Git, Perforce, Clearcase.
- Experience with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) tools is a plus.
- Experience with applying AI solutions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Architecting and developing Python based software.
- Applying advanced concepts such as AI, where applicable.
- Working with cross-functional teams to realize outstanding software solutions
Other
- At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship.
- Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing.
- English (Written & Verbal)
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship.
- Prior related internship or co-op experience
