ABB is looking to solve problems and deficiencies in their Instrumentation Products by designing and developing embedded Linux-based products, and improving and innovating product designs through experiments and evaluations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of C++, Embedded Linux, RTOS
Responsibilities
- Design and Development of Embedded Linux based Product for Instrumentation
- Analyzing problems or deficiencies and developing Product solutions to resolve them.
- Conducting experiments and evaluations to improve and innovate product designs.
- Learning development on C++, real time OS.
- Work directly with Senior Engineers to develop and test new approaches for ABB Products
- Learning Azure Devops and other agile management methodologies.
Other
- Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s degree program in computer science engineering or realated fields, in the United States.
- Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
- Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
