ABB is looking for interns to gain practical experience, support operations, and enhance personal education/employment opportunities by performing various tasks and projects within the company.

Requirements

  • Prior project/experience that demonstrate the usage of any programming language (such as C-Sharp or Javascript/ReactJS) and database (SQL) skills required.
  • Able to demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all aspects of software development activities, including design, coding, code review, testing, bug fixing, and code/API documentation, with a heavy focus on documentation.
  • Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues and participate in daily or weekly stand ups and meetings.

Other

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Collaborating with various teams to support ABB’s operations, ensuring effective coordination and timely project completion within the defined timelines.
  • Collaborate with other colleagues and participate in daily or weekly stand ups and meetings.
