Collins Aerospace is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to contribute to the development and verification of the latest generation of aerospace software, specifically safety critical flight control software, to redefine the future of aerospace technology.
Requirements
- Programming languages commonly used in aerospace applications, such as C and Python
- Integrated development environments (IDEs)
- Version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Industry standards and regulations, such as DO-178C for avionics software
- Experience using C and Python
- Knowledge of embedded systems and how software interacts with hardware components in aerospace systems
- Familiarity with software development tools
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test safety critical flight control software
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve high-quality and reliable software solutions

- High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline
