RTX's Tactical, Communications, and Maintenance Applications (TCMA) team in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking individuals to grow their technical expertise on complex programs and contribute to an innovative and fast-paced avionics business area. The team focuses on the design and development of software-only products for avionics solutions for military aircraft.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Agile software development cycle
- Familiarity with design and development using languages such as C, C++, Java, Ada and Python.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evaluate software in C++, Python within the Agile framework
- Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with other engineers in the planning, design, development of military technology
- Work closely with cross-functional research teams to evaluate the effectiveness of early software prototypes
- Independently perform multiple tasks given support from a mentor
- Implement requirements, detailed design, implementing software, integration, and verification in accordance with software development processes.
- Accomplish tasks based on program schedule, collaborate with teammates in order to make the best decisions
- Enjoy learning new technologies, be self-motivated and contribute to a positive work environment.

- Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
