Nutanix is looking for the next generation of Software Engineers to join their team for a 12-week paid internship. The goal is to immerse interns in cutting-edge technology, solve complex engineering challenges, and strengthen their technical and professional skills through hands-on projects and collaboration with experienced professionals.
Requirements
- Projects in backend, data systems-centric programming.
- Preferably 2-3 systems academic courses, e.g., operating systems, parallel programming, distributed systems, DBMS, etc.
- Fluency in at least one of the following languages: Java, C++, Python, or Golang
Responsibilities
- Hypervisors built from open-source technologies
- Full multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud database engines
- Virtual machine dynamic scheduling
- Software-defined networks
- Distributed systems, distributed storage, and platform deployment
- Linux kernel development
- Performance and scale of storage systems
Other
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa status, such as F1, H1B, or TN.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- No professional experience, other than prior internships.
