Datadog is looking for interns to help collect, aggregate, visualize, and analyze high-scale metrics, logs, and application data to solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services and grow the platform for its expanding customer base.
Requirements
- You have strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, software design, to name a few)
- You are comfortable coding in one or more programming languages
- You value code simplicity and performance
- Technologies such as Kubernetes, Bazel
Responsibilities
- Solve scaling bottlenecks in critical services to grow Datadog for its expanding customer base
- Deploy new features to production and contribute to projects that have a tangible impact on customers across Datadog’s user base
- Develop your tech stack through technologies such as Kubernetes, Bazel, and many more while receiving mentorship from the best engineers in the industry
- Collect, aggregate, visualize, and analyze high-scale metrics, logs, and application data
- Build out the platform that powers Datadog’s newest offerings, such as BitsAI or App Builder
- Write a new integration
- Build data pipelines

- You are targeting a 2027 full-time start date
- You are in the process of receiving/have a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; or have equivalent experience
