Rubrik is looking to secure the world's data by helping organizations achieve business resilience against cyberattacks, malicious insiders, and operational disruptions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in one or more industry-standard programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript).
- Familiarity with fundamental computer science concepts, such as algorithms, data structures, operating systems, concurrency, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on software engineering experience through internships, competitive coding challenges, significant academic projects, or research publications.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing machine learning models to enhance core functionalities.
- Optimizing tools to improve workflows for Rubrik's engineering teams.
- Developing robust new security features for Rubrik's products.
- Conducting exploratory research on emerging technologies.

- Availability to work full-time starting January 12, 2026 – May 15, 2026, at our headquarters in Palo Alto, CA.
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
