LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. is looking to solve software development issues within specific areas of responsibility

Requirements

  • 6 years of experience in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, and UNIX
  • 6 years of experience working with data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design principles
  • 6 years of experience in Java programming language and its ecosystem
  • 6 years of experience developing and deploying Java-based applications in production environments
  • 6 years of experience with RESTful web services, microservices architecture and API design
  • 6 years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • 6 years of experience using Agile development methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial point of escalation for software development issues within specific area of responsibility
  • Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity
  • Complete complex bug fixes
  • Work closely with other development team members to understand moderately complex product requirements and translate them into software designs
  • Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
  • Design and work with complex data models
  • Resolve complex technical issues as necessary

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field required
  • 6 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required
  • Employee reports to LexisNexis Risk Solutions, Inc. office in Franklin, TN, but may telecommute from any location within the U.S.
  • Experience can be concurrent
  • Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations
