Peraton is looking to solve national security problems by developing and maintaining software systems, specifically Java-based enterprise applications, to support its mission capability integration and transformative enterprise IT services.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Java, object-oriented design, and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and service-oriented architectures.
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, WebSocket, CSS).
- Experience using IDEs such as Eclipse
- Proficiency with build tools like Maven
- Familiarity with Angular or other front-end frameworks
- Must possess Active CompTIA Security+ CE certification
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based enterprise applications using modern frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Lead or contribute to the design and architecture of modular, scalable systems.
- Develop robust APIs and integrate distributed components in a microservices environment.
- Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure high-quality code.
- Support vulnerability remediation and ensure systems meet cybersecurity compliance standards.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple systems and environments.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers as needed.

- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
- 8 years with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA (Preferred Qualifications)
- Produce clear and concise technical documentation and support materials.
