DSG is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to enhance digital experiences and AI tools by guiding a team of developers, translating complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders, and driving the development of scalable web and mobile applications.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with React and mobile app development (React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or similar).
- Solid understanding of .NET / C-Sharp and backend services.
- Understanding of AI agent development and Python coding
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
- Prior experience leading development for a customer-facing digital website is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a small team of software engineers focused on the company’s digital experiences.
- Drive the architecture, design, and development of scalable web and mobile applications using React, mobile technologies (iOS/Android), and .NET.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and drive digital feature development.
- Translate technical concepts and progress into clear, accessible language for stakeholders across departments.
- Conduct code reviews, ensure best practices, and help troubleshoot complex development issues.
- Balance hands-on development responsibilities with leadership, coaching, and project management.
- Champion continuous improvement, modern development practices, and team collaboration.
