Veson Nautical is looking to solve the problem of leading two software engineering teams to design and build software for their rapidly growing SaaS platform, providing end-to-end logistical, operational, and analytical solutions to propel the efficiency and effectiveness of Maritime Commerce.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role
- Strong technical background: while familiarity with C++ is advantageous, we welcome candidates who are language-agnostic and adaptable to our stack.
- Previous experience with large-scale SaaS platforms and/or cloud-based microservice architectures is highly desirable.
- Experience with C++, SQL, React and supporting frameworks
- Experience with global deployment across multiple AWS regions
Responsibilities
- Lead and support two development teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Drive architectural decisions and provide technical direction to align with product and business goals.
- Mentor and coach developers, supporting career growth and technical excellence.
- Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, and operations to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Contribute to the codebase as needed to unblock teams or support critical initiatives.
