Capsa Healthcare is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of software and quality assurance engineers, enhance the engineering team's effectiveness through innovative strategies, and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for healthcare.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a management or technical leadership role.
- Strong coding and system design skills with the ability to contribute to complex technical work.
- Hands-on experience with modern software development tools, frameworks, and cloud-based architectures.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship; guide architecture, design, and code quality decisions.
- Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies.
- Support production deployments and post-release issue resolution.
- Drive the adoption and implementation of test automation frameworks and tools to increase test coverage, efficiency, and reliability.
- Lead and manage a team of Software Engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering practices, tools, and processes.
- Track project progress, risks, and dependencies, and report status to the VP of Engineering.
