Extra Space Storage is looking to hire a Software Engineering Manager to help develop and maintain their point-of-sale systems, which are critical to supporting 4,000+ employees in their daily work, handling over $3 billion per year in revenue and serving more than 1 million customers.

Responsibilities
- Bring a strong technical foundation and engage engineers in architecture and design discussions.
- Increase team capabilities in areas such as maintainability, scalability, and quality, while applying business process understanding to improve product delivery.
- Facilitate technical decisions, engage relevant contributors and stakeholders, and measure and communicate progress from daily to quarterly time frames.
- Guide team focus on objectives and key results (OKRs) and continuously improve software delivery processes.
- Hold purposeful one-on-one conversations, support skill development, and recruit and retain top engineering talent.
- Engage directly in technical discussions to ensure high-quality outcomes.
