BIOVIA, a subsidiary of DASSAULT SYSTEMES, is seeking a Content/Software Specialist to enhance their R&D team by providing programming and scripting expertise to the BIOVIA Content team. This role is crucial for developing a world-class system to process scientific content into various formats for life sciences and material science applications, specifically by replacing an in-house web-based chemical data application with BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot Functionality.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of Java, Python and/or R
- Experience using BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot or other similar chemical information software
- Broad technical knowledge in object-oriented design and implementation, design patterns, and software development methodologies.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum development.
Responsibilities
- providing programming and scripting expertise to the BIOVIA Content team
- replace an in-house web-based chemical data application with BIOVIA Pipeline Pilot Functionality
- Familiarity with software architecture, design, optimization and maintenance
- develop collaborative working relationships with applications development, quality assurance, product marketing, technical communications, and technical services teams from across the company

- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a Chemistry discipline
