ZOLL's Acute Care Technology division needs to develop and deliver innovative lifesaving products and software solutions to EMS, hospital, public safety, and military customers globally. This involves managing a team of software engineers to develop software for present and future ZOLL devices, contributing to product development over the software development lifecycle, and leading development and maintenance projects from initial concept through production.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience as a Senior or Principal software engineer required
- Demonstrated success managing software development projects and delivering software applications to production
- Experience with Scrum is preferred, but not required
- Experience with medical device software development is preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership for a team of experienced engineers creating embedded applications and communication systems for medical devices
- Provide day-to-day project management for software product development
- Manage, coach and develop staff
- Facilitate communication among R&D team and other departments
- contribute to product development over the software development lifecycle
- leading development and maintenance projects from initial concept, through design, implementation, verification and validation testing and into production
- manages day-to-day of project execution and makes high-level contributions to projects including project plans, requirements specifications and improving development process
Other
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent required
- 5 years of experience as a manager required
