Applied Intuition is looking to solve the problem of accelerating the global adoption of safe, AI-driven machines by developing the Vehicle OS, Self-Driving System, and toolchain for intelligent vehicles.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in embedded firmware or low-level RTOS development.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ with expertise in hardware/software co-design.
  • Track record of code reviews and technical leadership; direct coding experience is a strong plus.
  • Experience integrating sensors and hardware platforms into production software
  • Hands-on background with ADAS, Linux Kernel, QNX, and sensor integration
  • Knowledge of over-the-air (OTA) update processes and automotive device management is an advantage.
  • Background in automotive, consumer electronics, or comparable high-complexity systems

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team developing core firmware solutions for Vehicle OS.
  • Drive technical execution, architecture, and hands-on development of embedded systems, including Linux, QNX, and hardware abstraction.
  • Guide the integration of sensors and hardware with real-time firmware and board support packages.
  • Partner with product, hardware, and software teams to deliver reliable, production-grade automotive software.
  • Execute firmware and low-level software code reviews and provide technical leadership.
  • Set a compelling roadmap for firmware innovation, balancing speed, technical quality, and team productivity.
  • Contribute to recruiting efforts, team building, and ongoing mentoring.

  • We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, preferably from top programs
