Medtronic is looking to solve the business and technical problem of developing and managing complex mobile applications for their Diabetes Operating Unit, specifically focusing on Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) and Multiple Daily Injection (MDI) therapy. The goal is to provide patients with choices in diabetes treatment and improve their daily lives through innovative software solutions.
Requirements
- Experience in managing and developing complex mobile applications in Flutter (iOS or Android)
- mobile app development using languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Objective C and Flutter
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Work in agile/scrum environment
Responsibilities
- Experience in managing and developing complex mobile applications in Flutter (iOS or Android)
- Lead and manage a team of employees that are well versed in mobile app development using languages such as Kotlin, Swift, Objective C and Flutter
- Ability to collaborate with System and software architects to interpret, analyze product needs and guide the team through implementation
- Ability to coach developers on software development and provide constructive feedback to improve design and implementation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills can identify root cause of complex problems and provide solutions
- Provide feedback to cross functional teams such as Systems Engineering, Human factors, Clinical, and verification teams to drive quality products
- Strong technical contribution to Systems being build and guide the team through coding principles and enforce design reviews

- This position is onsite (hybrid, 3 days per week onsite) in Northridge, CA or San Diego, CA
