The Core Telemetry Platform team at Apple is looking to provide a cutting edge, reliable, scalable and extensible platform for defining/collecting/ingesting/processing data, and innovative analytics tools to easily discover meaningful insights.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in developing production software (C, C++, Python or Java)
- 5+ years of experience working with distributed systems (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
- 2+ years experience managing Engineering teams
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and career growth guidance to the team members
- Define the technical vision for the team
- Work with many cross functional teams and lead the planning, execution and success of the technical projects
- Manage the plans for the execution, test and roll-out of the solutions
- Provide guidance in design and development of large-scale analytics tools for rapid data analysis
