Apple's Software Engineering Data Analytics team needs to ensure internal and external commitments to user privacy, security, and compliance are met by developing and owning systems for data governance. This role is critical to SWE and directly impacts its ability to meet goals around Privacy, Compliance, and Security.

- builds the data governance solution for Apple Software Engineering
- drive the creation of UI, API and reporting components
- allow all stakeholders to successfully update, interrogate and audit data governance metadata
- collects, processes, and analyzes diagnostics and telemetry data from Apple devices across the world
- build systems to gather, understand, catalog and track this data and its use through its lifecycles

- Lead the team which develops software, collaborates with our data engineering, Privacy and Legal teams, in addition to working with the teams creating and managing the datasets themselves.
- Lead a multi-discipline team of software engineers building the data governance solution for Apple Software Engineering.
- Track record of building and managing high-performance software engineering teams.
- Strong sense of ownership of the development process and the will to drive the team toward constant code, application and process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple business and technical teams.
