Apple is looking to solve the problem of delivering insights through large-scale data solutions and building Generative AI-powered capabilities for the AppleCare Business Development, Finance, and Service Team.
Requirements
- Knowledge of BI concepts and implementation experience on Cloud with databases like Snowflake
- Programming experience in building high-quality software. Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages - Python, Scala, or Java.
- Strong hands-on experience in designing and developing cloud-based applications that include large-scale compute services, database services, APIs, ETL, etc.
- Experience in developing highly optimized SQLs, procedures & semantic processes for distributed data applications.
- Usage of basic ML models in the space of anomaly detection, forecasting, and GenAI.
- Experience building enterprise-level applications on large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with data insights and KPIs
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the vision and strategy for the AiDP AppleCare Business Development, Finance, and Service Team.
- Lead a team that focuses on building and scaling Generative AI-powered capabilities while forging strong cross-functional partnerships.
- Understanding the business domain by engaging directly with key business and IT stakeholders to understand business strategies, platform integration, GenAi goals, and how that ties to solution needs.
- Manage a team and work cross-functionally with other teams to coordinate the delivery of complex solutions.
- Generate and visualize data insights, metrics, and KPIs.
- Design and develop cloud-based applications that include large-scale compute services, database services, APIs, ETL, etc.
- Develop highly optimized SQLs, procedures & semantic processes for distributed data applications.
Other
- 8+ years of experience building enterprise-level applications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication and the ability to partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams
- Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a high-paced, fast-charging, and unpredictable work environment
