Medtronic is looking to solve the business problem of delivering Insight Driven Care, which is personalized healthcare driven by data, by building and improving Digital Health platforms. These platforms are used by various stakeholders including healthcare providers, patients, data scientists, and R&D/R&T teams to deliver capabilities such as patient engagement, clinical decision support, care management, healthcare data management, AI/ML enablement, medical image technologies, and interoperability.
Requirements
- Experience building cloud native solutions, specifically leveraging AWS Native Services
- Experience with data platforms and standards
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
- Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies
- Strong technical acumen and proven ability to collaborate with engineers and developers on technical discussions
Responsibilities
- Oversee activities of development and design requirements for software systems, applications and software quality assurance for enhancements and new products, including cloud-based platforms, to meet the current and future software needs
- Manage activities to ensure programs are appropriately resourced and ensure continuous improvement in technical capability, process, and compliance
- Manage scope, cost, and schedule within a cross-functional development team
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of business analysts, software systems engineers, and product owners in the Digital Health space, building enterprise platforms to enable personalized healthcare driven by data
- Continually improve our software delivery by maturing our product management practices
- Collaborate cross functionally with engineering, security, service delivery, and privacy teams, among other teams, to deliver best in class digital products
- Influence and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, peers, and leadership to remove barriers for the team

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- Previous experience in Digital Health, healthcare, or life sciences
- Passion for developing and coaching a team
- Experience leading a team of seasoned professionals
