EPAM Georgia is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to enhance their team, focusing on resource management, organizational growth, and the development of Go Competency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on background in software engineering, with demonstrated skills in Go Lang and Cloud technologies
- 2+ years of experience with Agile project delivery, including familiarity with Kanban and Scrum methodologies
- Expertise in project management, including knowledge of software engineering standards and best practices
- Proficiency in managing teams of 15+ members, including resolving team management issues
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher, both written and spoken
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the software development process and strengthen adherence to established engineering standards (both corporate and project-specific)
- Set project schedules, prioritize team activities, resolve issues and defects, and ensure project outcomes align with client expectations and timelines
- Take part in project design while managing product life cycle processes to align with business, financial, and scheduling goals
- Coordinate with developers to interpret requirements, oversee deliverables, and ensure client satisfaction with product quality
- Allocate necessary resources to support existing business and pursue new opportunities
- Recruit personnel from multiple locations (including internal transfers) as outlined in the plan while establishing an effective onboarding program
- Promote knowledge management by determining required skills and technologies, and facilitating training through the company’s L&D capabilities
