Requirements
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to the team as they design, develop, integrate and test the features for BeyondBackendBackbone (B4) availability, scaling, NPIs.
- Prioritize work and ensure that incremental progress is made even if the problems at hand are difficult to solve in a short period of time.
- Help team members and partner teams understand the broader context, and solve the right problems at the right time.
- Be comfortable with changes in the execution plan if they are enabling the right impact for Google.
- optimize your own code but make sure engineers are able to optimize theirs.
- manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team.
