Requirements
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
- Experience in a leadership role focused on large-scale data processing.
- Experience in managing teams of Google Cloud Marketplace software engineers.
- Experience leading projects that build and maintain disbursement and transaction processing systems, hiring and developing talent, fostering team well-being, creating agile teams, and reprioritizing projects as needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team of software engineers in Google Cloud Marketplace within the Business Integration area.
- Ensure software quality across team's domain.
- Deliver technical thought leadership on complicated and ambiguous projects and bugs.
- Build and grow talent through hiring, mentoring, and coaching engineers, guiding them towards testing projects and leadership opportunities.
- You not only optimize your own code but make sure Engineers are able to optimize theirs.
- As a Software Engineering Manager you manage your project goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team.
- manage engineers across multiple teams and locations, a large product budget and oversee the deployment of large-scale projects across multiple sites internationally.
