The CloudOS Engineering team is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee software development and release quality for Private cloud compute, a critical component for Apple Intelligence. The role involves driving high-priority releases, ensuring build quality for executive teams, and leading quality efforts for OS delivery.
Requirements
- Expertise and proficiency in tools/framework development and using Python, C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift
- Experience with designs that are secure and private first
- Experience with developing and operating large scale distributed systems
- track record of product development and large scale frame working and automation development
Responsibilities
- oversee software development and the cloudOS release quality team for Private cloud compute
- participating in high-priority releases
- driving critical software milestones for the program
- providing insights into build quality to executive teams
- lead the quality efforts for OS delivery for Private cloud compute
- collaborating with cross-functional teams on larger initiatives
- drive both individual product enhancements and comprehensive system validation activities
