Woven by Toyota is enabling Toyota's transformation into a mobility company. The Enterprise Technology Engineering Team (EnTec) builds solutions that enhance productivity for automotive software developers, who face challenges deploying artifacts to cloud, mobile devices, and vehicles, meeting security certifications, and navigating testing and simulation. The LaunchBox team specifically aims to make software development more productive and efficient by providing tools for instant provisioning of pre-configured cloud workstations.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of extensive software development. Experienced in producing code (Rust, Go, C++, C, Ruby, or Python)
- Excellent technical abilities, capable of quickly understanding complex technical situations that usually involve people, processes and products
- Hands-on experience working deploying infrastructure AWS or GCP
- Linux power user or SysAdmin background
- Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux administration
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure with integrated testing
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
Responsibilities
- designing and building best in class automation tools for deploying curated Linux developer workstations
- Act as a leadership figure by engaging people and caring for them
- Adapt established processes, frameworks to produce quality software
- Establish a team culture to enable engineers to be successful, engaged and open to collaboration with other engineering and security teams
- Inspire software engineering best practices for developing high-quality, maintainable, and safe code that will be deployed to vehicles
- Along with technical leadership, provide technical guidance to the team
- Engage and contribute to architecture discussions to empower sound technical decision-making

- Cultivate the success of an internationally distributed team of software engineers (2 contractors, 2 FTE). This team will closely interact with their peers in our other locations in North America and in Japan;
