WebstaurantStore is looking to solve the problem of managing and developing its HRIS software by hiring a Software Engineering Manager to lead talented Software Development teams.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Software engineering background with proven experience leading an engineering team in an Agile environment.
- Leading teams using Microsoft Stack (particularly C-Sharp) and React.
- Ability to communicate complex initiatives clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding across teams.
- Utilize exceptional conflict resolution skills to navigate difficult conversations and foster positive outcomes.
- Showcase strong emotional intelligence to build rapport, manage relationships, and respond appropriately to diverse situations.
- Strong self-management skills to be effective with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Foster an inclusive team culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
- Ensure adherence to software development best practices, including CI/CD, code quality, and observability.
- Responsible for performance management and career development of a team of approximately 10 Software Engineers.
- Organizing and managing timelines, which includes collaborating with BA, QA and development teams.
- Actively contributing to code reviews, architecture decisions and process improvements.
