The Boeing Company is seeking a Fighters Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of mission systems software engineers developing real-time embedded software for a Fighters Platform in an agile, collaborative environment. The role involves serving as a business owner on one of the program's agile release trains, working closely with Program Management, and having frequent customer interactions. The selected candidate will also be responsible for staffing up the Daytona Beach site and ensuring successful collaboration and knowledge sharing between St. Louis and Daytona Beach.

- Working knowledge of the Scale Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience with Earned Value Management
Responsibilities
- Manage within the Scaled Agile Framework environment (SAFe)
- Coordinate across teams within the Agile Release Train (ART) and across various other ARTs on the platform’s Solution Train
- Manage and coordinate work across unclassified and collateral secret areas to ensure full solutions for the warfighter
- Fulfills Cost Account Manager (CAM) duties as appropriate for Earned Value Management (EVM) tracking
- Presents software status as needed to Boeing Program Management and DoD customers and supports the managing of program contracts
- Provides guidance and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
- Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Software Engineering

- Ability to travel 10%
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the US Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
