The company is looking to develop and deliver cloud-supported IT solutions designed for resilience and hands-off operations to support the manufacturing of the future vehicle electrical systems.
Requirements
- Expertise in Kafka, Java, Quarkus including front-end technologies like React UI
- Experience working with multi-tier production software systems and backend datastores
- Demonstrated ability to understand the tech stack, debug code and tests
- Experience in working in an environment with leveraged horizontal teams in IT
- Experience in collaborating with program management teams
- Experience in open source technology conversion (preferred)
- Experience in Jira and Github (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Leads, guides and directs a group of highly technical employees responsible for software engineering & system analysis deliverables
- Collaborates with IT and business partner organizations to develop the validated set of IT program requirements
- Drives modern IT development processes within the Persistent Team enabling Daily Builds of a fully observable application supporting global distributed operations
- Leads the development of a resilient IT architecture enabling cloud supported code deployment with hands-off operations
- Leads team on new methods or initiatives without defined procedures
- Leads team to meet targets
- Hiring: Identifies & leads staffing initiatives for work team
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of degree
- 8+ years of experience in large scale web or manufacturing application
- Enthusiastic about the opportunity of impacting the manufacturing business and culture from the bottom up
