PNC is looking to hire a Software Engineering Manager to oversee and manage the HR Talent application portfolio, ensuring its upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution, while also managing a team and fostering innovation.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of SaaS solution, modern technology and vendor management
  • Extensive experience working with other teams for integrations and solutions
  • Experience with implementing large-scale technology projects, prior HR system experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all system upgrades, enhancement and issues for our HR Talent application portfolio.
  • Manages the design, implementation, delivery and support of all related changes to this portfolio, or in support of other business or technical areas that have a dependency on any of these Talent solutions.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, integrity, testing of system changes and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
  • Manage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines.
  • Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market.
  • Encourage sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design.
  • Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.

Other

  • PNC will not provide sponsorship for employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
  • Manage a team of BSAs, developers and quality engineers providing oversight, guidance and performance management to drive individual and team success
  • Serves as subject matter expert for all applications supporting our HR Talent business functions
  • Serve as a strong consultative partner to business and functional leaders to continuously improve service delivery
  • Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.
