Requirements
- Strong technical understanding of operating systems and how the various layers in the software stack fit together
- Prior iOS, iPadOS, or macOS experience
- Experience in managing complex, cross-functional software projects with user facing UI
- Project management experience in software development lifecycle
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle
- Experience delivering customer-facing software features or projects from concept through delivery
- Experience with cross-functional software projects
Responsibilities
- Define, schedule, and track the team's work
- Partner with software engineers and managers across the Software Engineering team
- Bring together different teams from Software, Hardware and Design to deliver on groundbreaking technology across all operating systems
- Deliver customer-facing software features or projects from concept through delivery
- Manage complex, cross-functional software projects with user facing UI
- Execute on defined processes
- Track the team's work and multi-functional initiatives
Other
- 5+ years experience as a technical software Project or Program Manager
- Excellent spoken and written communication with the ability to tailor communication style to multiple audiences
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
- Ability to build relationships and influence others
- Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
