Claris, an Apple subsidiary, is looking to hire a Software Engineering Project Manager to manage the software development lifecycle and deliver high-quality software solutions for their SaaS Platform.
Requirements
- 8 years experience in software engineering project or program management.
- Proficiency with a variety of project management tools, including Jira, Quip, Slack, Box, and Keynote.
- Experience with Claris Platform Products: FileMaker, Connect, and Studio.
- Familiarity with SaaS platform product development, cloud technologies and platform services.
- Experience in developing and launching AI-enabled features.
- 5 years experience in software engineering project or program management.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering software products, emphasizing continuous improvement and operational rigor.
Responsibilities
- Direct software development projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Develop, maintain, and drive detailed project plans for complex products, adeptly managing priorities, capacities, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
- Implement strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness, using scalable and metrics-driven approaches.
- Manage processes across the software development lifecycle with a focus on metrics and efficiency.
Other
- Manage the entire software development lifecycle across various functions including Software Engineering, Product Management, QA, Legal, Customer Success, Design, Finance, and Marketing while fostering innovation, collaboration, and operational effectiveness.
- Skillfully handle the complexities and uncertainties of project management, maintaining a flexible and adaptive approach to dynamic business scenarios.
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively lead meetings, engage with and influence stakeholders, resolve any misalignments, provide clear direction and updates to DRIs and senior leadership.
- Cultivate a high-performance team environment, encouraging problem-solving and promoting knowledge sharing.
- Experience delivering software solutions to small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
