Apple is looking to build the next generation of Augmented Reality (AR) interactive solutions for Apple platforms, specifically for the Apple Vision Pro, a revolutionary spatial computer.
Requirements
- Prior experience in hands-on software development is highly desired
- Familiarity or prior experience in any of the following areas: augmented and virtual reality, computer vision, machine learning and artificial intelligence, 3D rendering engines
- Solid knowledge of software development practices
- Experience in software program or project management
- Ability to create and execute plans in ambiguous settings, identifying priorities and driving what matters
- Curiosity and passion for new technologies and proven ability to quickly understand technical concepts
- Experience driving and delivering critical project features which involve integration with multiple different teams
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional programs and feature areas in spatial computing, augmented reality and 3D rendering for visionOS and other Apple platforms
- Lead projects through the software development lifecycle from concept to delivery
- Partner with engineering management to deliver multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Build strong collaborative relationships within the organization as well as cross-functionally
- Confidently and calmly manage any conflicts and challenges along the way
- Drive projects with a keen eye for important details and communicate clearly on status and risks
- Deliver successful outcomes and drive projects to completion
Other
- 5+ years of related experience with a BS/MS, Computer Science / Engineering or relevant industry experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
