SandboxAQ is looking to revolutionize heart health by developing critical software that powers next-generation, non-invasive cardiac diagnostic devices.
Requirements
- Very strong programming proficiency in a modern programming language, ideally Python.
- Comfortable and experienced with Linux-based systems and the command line.
- Demonstrated experience working on projects that involve the integration of software with physical hardware.
- Experience with frontend development in React, TypeScript and storybooks.
- Familiarity with embedded systems firmware
- Familiarity with building, testing, and deploying applications within a mature software development environment (e.g., using Git, CI/CD, etc.).
- Experience working with cloud infrastructure, preferably within AWS
Responsibilities
- Actively collaborate with the product and engineering teams to design and prototype novel features for our cutting-edge medical devices
- Take ownership of integrating prototyped features into the full medical device software stack, ensuring seamless operation from the Python backend (Tornado/Flask) to the React-based frontend device operators use
- Create clearly-written, tested, scalable, and documented SW solutions
- Take a hands-on role in the lab, supporting the software setup, integration, and debugging on real-world hardware
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers on CI/CD pipelines, automation, and deployment workflows

- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a M.S., or Ph.D. program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
