Ensure software quality for applications within an assigned portfolio by creating and executing test scenarios and cases, analyzing results, and reporting defects.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of test management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management or Quality Center
- Understand business, functional and technical aspects applications in assigned portfolio
- Understand application landscape (e.g. application architecture, physical and logical deployment, interfaces, dependencies) for applications in assigned portfolio
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Foundations Certification
- American Society for Quality Certified Quality Improvement Associate
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test scenarios and cases in support of system testing.
- Analyze and report test results including defect and test summary reports.
- Work with defined testing tools and processes to ensure software quality.
- Lead the testing requirements and design reviews, including overseeing the work of testing teams.
- Create and execute moderate to complex test scenarios and cases.
- Track and monitor defects.
- Report testing status via test summary and defect reporting.
