Squarespace's Growth group is looking for an Engineering Team Manager for their Activation team to optimize the crucial early stages of a user's journey, driving user engagement and conversion by creating a seamless and compelling experience from trial start through the first successful sale.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex software projects.
- Strong technical background in Javascript, React, or similar Frontend frameworks
- Experience with the full software development life cycle in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-7 software engineers, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive technical strategy and roadmap development for the Activation team, ensuring alignment with overall product goals and business objectives.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver high-quality features.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and support the career growth of your team members.
