Requirements
- Previous experience with Coding Languages such as: C/C++, Python, Java, or other comparable languages required
- Experience with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting across Windows and Linux environments
- Understanding of scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Familiarity with tool license management and support for both software and electrical engineering teams
- Experience with file management systems such as Subversion, GIT, BitBucket/SourceTree
- Maintains a Basic IT Certification such as CompTIA A+ or knowledgeable about basic IT and OS troubleshooting
- Moderate-Advanced skill and knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365 Tools like: Outlook, Excel, Word
Responsibilities
- Ability to adapt existing code bases in a variety of programming languages. Experience with integrated systems. Understanding of logic structures and syntax
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain cross-disciplinary engineering tools spanning software and electrical environments
- Document and recognize how software is related to program software and systems. Maintain and organize software licensing and project files
- Evaluate, generate, and implement problem-solving solutions for both programming and administrative tasks
- Develop realistic work plans, sets goals, coordinates with team, and executes plan within a timely manner. Manages time well and completes all goals within the given timeframe
- Troubleshoot and problem solve core service and support challenges while applying best practices for documentation, change management, and scripting. Support basic IT infrastructure and networking
- Comply with and applies Lab safety policies
Other
- Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Work is always performed on time and can be counted on by other team members. Admits mistakes and perseveres to correct them
- Does not need to be micro-managed and is proactive in all efforts. Completes work and helps with extra work when needed.
