The Boeing Company is seeking Software Engineers to support the development and testing of complex test equipment for the PAC-3 (Patriot Advanced Capability 3) missile defense system, with an emphasis on enhancing the testing of next-generation missile defense.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with software development using either Java, C++, or Python
- 2+ years of experience in LabVIEW Development
- 2+ years of experience reading electrical schematics is strongly desired
- 2+ years of experience in instrumentation control over common buses (serial, GPIB, ethernet, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience or, alternatively, accredited coursework with some form of sensor system which may include astronomy sensors, high energy physics sensors, electromagnetic or radar sensors, EO/IR sensors, biomedical sensors, or complex sensors used in manufacturing or analysis.
- Experience/coursework in optical or electromagnetic (RF - radio frequency) sensing or communication systems such as GPS, GNSS, MILSAT, Iridium, Starlink, RF, or electromagnetic astronomy.
- Some software projects involving the development of models, simulations, or control systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to development and deployment of automated test equipment for lab and factory automation, including data processing and control algorithm development
- Work in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills.
- Use your talents to take on complex problems on a variety of programs.
- Responsible for developing technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings in support of program requirements.
