Honeywell's Security and Access Solutions business needs to develop innovative software solutions that enhance security systems by building a cloud-based software-as-a-service unified security solution supporting access control, video, and monitoring capabilities.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of the JavaScript language and functional programming
- Experience building on RESTful web services
- A strong portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing front-end development experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and serverless architecture
- Experience with JavaScript technologies including Node.js, React, and Cucumber
- Familiarity with continuous integration practices, unit testing, and automated integration testing
- Knowledge of distributed systems, network security, automation tools, and system analysis
Responsibilities
- Work with senior engineers, UX designers, security engineers, and product owners to deliver features directly to both internal and external customers
- Write code to support product features, test automation, infrastructure, and deployment
- Participate in peer review to both share and receive feedback
- Design, develop, test, and demo as needed withing a delivery team
- implement software solutions
- assist with test plans and documentation
- maintain those solutions
Other
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
