The company is seeking a skilled and dependable Network Administrator to lead a four-member team and oversee the daily operation and maintenance of their IT infrastructure, ensuring network uptime, system security, support coverage, nightly backups, and hardware/software purchasing.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
  • Experience managing SQL Server and VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
  • In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, and firewall configurations.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in network or systems administration within a Microsoft-based environment.
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills in IT operations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across teams and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure continuous network uptime and system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Administer and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and related network services.
  • Manage and maintain VMware virtual infrastructure and Windows Server environments, including Microsoft Exchange, Sharepoint and SCCM.
  • Oversee SQL Server performance, backups, and data security.
  • Monitor and verify nightly backups for all critical systems, ensuring data integrity and recoverability.
  • Maintain and monitor servers, firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless access points to ensure security and optimal performance.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and manage purchasing of network hardware, software, and IT supplies within approved budgets.
