BJC HealthCare is looking to hire a Software III Developer to work on developing more complex software components as part of a product or platform team, to deliver value to stakeholders. This role provides technical leadership, designs, develops and refactors more complex applications, integrations between third-party solutions and/or customizations to third-party applications as applicable.

- Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, refactors complex programs/scripts and integration services to deliver highly available and efficient solutions.
- Contributes to selection of the software development methods and supports continuous improvement.
- Maintains application support processes, ensure requests are completed according to agreed procedures.
- Uses application management software and tools to investigate issues, collect performance statistics and create reports.
- Participates in requirement, design and specification reviews, and uses this information to design and execute test plans and test conditions mapping back to pre-determined criteria.
- Records and reports test outcomes.
- Develops, configures and maintains tools to manage and report on change requests, issues and corrective actions.
