Vantor is looking to solve the problem of helping decision makers and operators navigate what’s happening now and shape what’s coming next in the field of spatial intelligence, specifically with GPS-denied operations software on drones for DoD and IC customers.
Requirements
- Understanding of U.S. Government infrastructure and security requirements
- Strong understanding of technical concepts related to managing drone applications, autonomy, and complex software stacks
- Experience with DevOps tools and automation platforms like Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies
- Significant software development experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar
- Experience with drone hardware and software technologies
- Strong experience with large geospatial datasets, storage, access patterns and formats
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, using frameworks like Scrum and Kanban
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy drone-focused technology solutions as proofs-of-concept in our lab and onsite with customers
- Test, troubleshoot, and enhance customer software applications with and on behalf of customers
- Develop and present innovative, scalable, and cost-effective software solutions to meet customer needs
- Continually assess product quality, release readiness, and maintain existing Vantor software and hardware solutions
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to enable scaling of forward-deployed engineering tasks
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and government regulations that impact drones, autonomy, and GPS-denied operations

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Ability to travel and work independently and collaboratively with remote and/or geographically distributed teams
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
