The role involves creating a groundbreaking software simulation testbed to support the Blue Ring Spacecraft for development and operational activities.
Requirements
- Proficient in C / C++ development with a strong technical prowess
- Skilled in Python or similar scripting languages
- In-depth knowledge of real-time operating systems and embedded control systems, including APIs, interfaces, and device drivers
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as UDP/TCP, I2C, UART, etc.
- Proficient with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization
- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitLab, or GitHub
- Strong debugging at the software-hardware interface
Responsibilities
- Contribute to comprehensive release strategy, meticulous coordination, and detailed documentation processes.
- Craft sophisticated and accurate simulation models that push the boundaries of what's possible.
- Develop intricate test scripts designed to ensure detailed integration and the success of crucial test events.
- Own development and planning of simulation models and test scripts.
- Implement simulation solutions crucial for the project's success.
- Develop sophisticated simulation models that precisely reflect scenarios.
- Collaborate with teammates and valued customers to capture essential requirements.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
- Exceptionally organized great teammate with stellar written and verbal communication skills
- Over 5 years of relevant proven expertise in developing software simulation testbeds for innovative systems
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
