NVIDIA is seeking a Software Infrastructure Engineer to develop, validate, and direct software security requirements, implementations, and integrations within their Cloud Data Services team to define problems and deliver highly innovative solutions that lead to significant differentiation in the industry, translate customer needs into architectural, technical & strategic direction, and help to resolve objectives & long-range goals of the organization.
Requirements
- Experience with DevOps solutions, including but not limited to Python, Ansible, Docker/Containers, and container orchestration services including Argo CD/GitOps or similar.
- Proven Linux system administration expertise (Ubuntu/Debian preferred) with a strong emphasis on security.
- Understanding of AWS technologies, such as EC2, ELB, ECS, RDS, API Gateway, WAFs, and Lambda, with provisioning automation experience.
- Knowledgeable in networking concepts like VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Internet Gateways, NATs, etc.
- Experience with HashiCorp's Vault solution and PKI certificate chains.
- Competence in measuring system performance and crafting iterative improvements using new technologies and tools.
- Background with running HashiCorp Vault and integration into deployment processes and application security including encryption, key management, data loss prevention, and hardware security modules.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain infrastructure to support high-performance, large-scale applications and services.
- Run hundreds of distributed database instances deployed across 13 regions.
- Implement and lead deployment automation processes for a variety of platforms including databases, proxies, applications, and containers.
- Set up security solutions protecting database access, data storage, backups and restore processes.
- Build and support automation tools that configure NVIDIA's security systems implementing JWT, OIDC, PKIs, Policies and Database Secrets.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation detailing the configurations of deployed solutions.
- Optimize current processes and flows to streamline new service deployments and regular maintenance and replacement tasks.

- BS in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years in large-scale systems engineering roles with exposure to DevOps and SRE or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills with a record of effective mentorship and influence within teams with varied strengths.
- Demonstrates leadership skills by taking initiative and able to work independently.
