Zoox is looking to solve real problems that slow teams down or limit product quality by applying LLMs to enhance developer and customer experience
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python or C++
- Coursework or project experience in software development, demonstrating understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with LLMs through coursework, personal projects, or hackathons
- Experience with prompt engineering or LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock)
- Contributions to open-source projects
- Experience with vector databases or embedding models
- Familiarity with developer tools (IDEs, debuggers, build systems)
Responsibilities
- build AI Agents and AI Workflows that enhance how developers and customers experience Zoox
- apply LLMs to solve real problems that slow teams down or limit product quality
- reduce the time it takes developers to ship features
- accelerate the triage of real-world incidents
- improve the quality and consistency of multimodal datasets
- design AI Agents that automate common engineering workflows end to end
- own projects from idea to launch
Other
- Currently working towards a B.S., M.S., or advanced degree in a relevant engineering program
- Must be returning to school to continue your education upon completing this internship
- Good academic standing
- Able to commit to a 12-week internship beginning in May or June of 2026
- Ability to relocate to the Bay Area, California for the duration of the internship
