Northrop Grumman is seeking to ensure the quality and functionality of software for large, complex systems by testing it against customer requirements. This involves managing the full testing lifecycle, preparing for customer milestones, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the delivered product.
Requirements
- Experience with scripting languages: Python, Perl
- Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
- Experience with test automation and analysis automation
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira)
- Experience with programming/scripting languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Perl
- Experience developing in a Linux environment using git
Responsibilities
- test software that is part of a large, complex code base to ensure its capabilities, documented in requirements, are working as the customer expects
- take the testing through the full life-cycle to include writing test procedures, preparing for peer reviews, performing dry runs and preparing for customer milestones
- prepare for and perform test readiness reviews and requirements sell-off
- ensure delivery of a quality product and customer satisfaction
- transition to a web-based environment using Agile Principles and DevSecOps automated testing methodologies
- create test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports
- conduct testing, deliver test data/results, and assist the Government at the conclusion of each test phase

- Active TS/SCI required at the time of application
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholders
- Previous participation on an Agile scrum team or familiarity with the Agile process
- Demonstrate problem solving and decision making skills
