Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software I&T Engineer to test software that is part of a large, complex code base to ensure its capabilities are working as the customer expects, and to deliver a quality product and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of software integration and test principles and processes
- Experience with test automation and analysis automation
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Confluence, Jira)
- Experience with scripting languages: Python, Perl
- Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system
- Experience with programming/scripting languages: C, C++, Java
- Experience developing in a Linux environment using git
Responsibilities
- Test software that is part of a large, complex code base to ensure its capabilities are working as the customer expects
- Take the testing through the full life-cycle to include writing test procedures, preparing for peer reviews, performing dry runs and preparing for customer milestones
- Prepare for and perform test readiness reviews and requirements sell-off
- Ensure delivery of a quality product and customer satisfaction
- Create test plans, test cases, test procedures, and test reports
- Conduct testing, deliver test data/results, and assist the Government at the conclusion of each test phase
- Use scripting languages such as Python and Perl to create test scripts

- Active TS/SCI required at the time of application
- Ability to travel 10% of the time
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees, management, and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in STEM; 2 Years of relevant experience
- U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions with a government clearance
