Bowhead seeks a Software Integrator to support NIWC Atlantic by analyzing complex technical support assignments and collaborating with various engineering and analysis teams within a scaled agile environment.
Requirements
- COMPTIA Sec + or higher certification
- Strong understanding of software integration methodologies, data exchange formats and messaging protocols.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
- Proficiency with scripting and automation
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and virtualization technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage container orchestration platforms in Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of containerized workloads.
- Package and containerize existing and new applications.
- Integrate container solutions into CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.
- Enforce container security best practices, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls.
- Conduct software integration and validation testing to identify and resolve technical issues.
Other
- BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience
- Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Must be able to lift, move, and position equipment in both indoor and outdoor environments, including on uneven or natural surfaces.
- Must be able to work outdoors in deployed environments and perform duties in adverse weather conditions, including cold, rain, snow, and heat.
